Ya that’s where I ordered mine IT DOESNT FIT A3OO AND A350 DONT HAVE THE SAME SCREEN. Here's a link for the A300 & 350 LCD covers This is the Sony LCD protector for my A350. Much easier than digging for my cleaning cloth after every shot. Every time I take a photo the LCD gets smudged (I bathe, okay, lol) and a quick swipe with the band cleans it up. I keep the smudges at bay with one of those 3 inch athletic wrist bands on my wrist. I'm more interested in keeping the LCD from getting damaged than smudged. The clear sheets would never stay on so I got aggravated with that pretty quick. I don't know how well it works since it hasn't arrived yet, lol. I bought a simple LCD protector and stuck it on my A350's screen.Īnd I also happened to see a new hard plastic protector for the A350 at my local Sony dealer, and I got that as well. It’s not the same as the a700 they sent me one and it don’t fit because the screen sticks out on the a350 not even close People don't notice it either.Īlternatively, if anybody wants a rigid screen protector for the a300/a350: /ACMAXX-2-7-HARD-LCD-ARMOR-PROTECTOR-SONY-A30. it doesn't look great right when you put it on, but after some time (2 weeks), I can barely notice it on the camera. I was about to return the shield since it managed to scratch somehow but decided to wait it out a little bit.Īlso, people shouldn't be concerned about the InvisibleShield not being fully transparent. It's kinda creepy how the film "heals" itself over time. My buddy put a fine hairline scratch on it (enough to be noticeable) and it cleared itself up in a week. I've got one for my a700 and I couldn't be happier.
I will vouch for the Zagg InvisibleShields. Wash your face as much as you like, but shooting frames in San Antonio or New Orleans in the middle of summer is going to leave a mark. If it's like the one on my a700 (which it probably is), it doesn't resist smudging as much as I would like. (Yeah, I know."Wash your face more often!") Do they really? I take 2 pictures with my A-200 and the right and left top sides of the LCD screen are smeary from my facial oils. I saw in some ad or other that they resist smudging, but just that one mention. I've been trying to find out forever it seems if these protectors will resist smudging more easily than what's on the camera? I really don't care much about the protection aspect.
They do a great job of protecting the camera lcd though, and work exceptionally well. I was unable to clean it, so I had to replaced it. Seems that the chemical reaction from a little suntan lotion off my body getting onto the plastic protector, affected it. Went south on vacation a few weeks ago, and found that my hard LCD protector became sort of foggy. Something to watch out for with summer approaching is that the Sony hard LCD protectors don't mix well if you get suntan lotion from your body getting on them (even a small amount rubbing off). check your camera model before placing the order.Ĭheerful road edited this topic ages ago. I bought invisible shield for both my cameras. Upali - උපාලි edited this topic ages ago. It is just a film, not like the one on SonyStyle.
#Sony a350 camera bag free
Spoonser seriously? you have the a350 LCD protector? How did you get it-where did you get it.how can I get it? That would be awesome.ĭoesn't both 300 and 350 have a 2.7" LCD? Well I got a LCD protector free from DigitalRev when I ordered my 350. I order in error, I have the a300 which is only 2.7" I have the 3" lcd protector for the sony a350. (Yeah, I know, wash your face more often! :-)) Every time I use the viewfinder on my A-200 my forehead touches the LCD screen and it becomes smudged right away. I'm more interested in that aspect than the scratch protection. I keep trying to find out from someone if these devices will keep smudges off too. I ordered one from Sony style and they sent me the one for the a200 :( and then wouldn’t take it back because they said I had to talk to technical support to figure out why it would not fit. I wish Sony had one of those plastic covers like the a700 and a200 for this, but they don't have one yet and I would hate to scratch it tossing it into the bag. Anyone come up or found anything to protect the LCD screen on the a350? I have gone through so many WriteRights (the PDA screen protector) because one corner would begin to peel off and then the whole thing would come off as soon as it caught onto some clothing.
